Obviously, internet crime is growing in the United
States. You may know it as cyber-crime
or computer crime. With privacy becoming
almost a thing of the past anyone with a little bit of knowledge can
participate in some sort of internet crime.
Bank accounts, credit cards, even social security numbers can be
accessed with the click of a mouse.
There are several criminal offenses that qualify as internet
crimes. Among them are:
1. Unauthorized use of a computer
2. Tampering with anyone’s computer
3. Cyber harassment
4. Accessing child pornography
5. Soliciting sexual acts with a minor even if that
solicitation was thought to be with an adult
6. Gambling via the internet
Any of these issues and perhaps others can put you or
someone you care about behind the eight ball with the law. And we’re not just talking about local law
enforcement either. At a time like this
you need aggressive representation.
